Hello, I am Jack Jones. I work as an investigator in the Violent Crimes Department. I may be the hero of this story, but unfortunately everyone bullies me, even young children.

When they know that I am a police officer, they ask me in amazement. Are you sure you are a police officer? Your appearance does not at all say that you can catch criminals, and we bet too. You are an outcast among the girls.

One day, he came to a group of children who were considered witnesses in a case that had occurred recently, and suddenly the children began talking and analyzing my personality, and one of them said:

And at this moment, I was shocked because even though they were just young children, they were able to know everything about my personal life from our first meeting.

 Even the chaperone who came with the children told me

  So I hurriedly said to him, “No, don’t worry about me. I already have a woman I love.”

   I had almost not finished this sentence and found that the heroine was looking for me and calling my name

"Jack, are you here? Oh my God, he looked for you everywhere. What have you been doing all this time?"

The first time the children saw the heroine, one of them said, “Is it possible that this young lady is your lover?”

While the other added

“Do you call yourself a policeman while you bring your girlfriend to the police headquarters? Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?”

But at that moment, Jack remembered what had happened this morning. In fact, a beautiful girl in her twenties came to him, with an expression of excitement on her face. She was undoubtedly Emma, Maya's close friend.

Emma came to Max and told him, "Hey Jack, Maya and I had a drink yesterday, but after Emma got drunk, she told me a secret about the person she fell in love with. Do you want to know?"

Emma was saying all of this with an expression of joy and excitement at the same time, but despite that she did not give Max a chance to respond, which had an expression of surprise.

Emma quickly said to Max while she was teasing him and laughing with an expression of deceit and deceit, “Maya said that she was accompanied by a police officer from the Violent Crimes Department. However, I am quite sure that she was leading you, so hurry up and confess your feelings to her. You know the horror of all the police officers.” The police almost like Maya, so hurry up before you miss the opportunity haha.”

This was the truth of what happened that morning, and while Jack was contemplating Emma's words and hoping that they were true, he even drew a picture in his imagination of his and Maya's happy family.

But all of this was destroyed as soon as Maya shouted at him, saying, "Hello, what's wrong with you today? I've been calling your name for a long time. What was going through your mind to make you feel so lost? Please don't tell me you're sick. We still have a lot of work. You won't leave me alone." I face all these problems alone, don't I?

Jack hurried away with an aggrieved and worried expression, "Miss Maya, what are you saying? Of course not. I will never leave you no matter what happens."

“What do you mean?” Maya answered hurriedly

"Oh, I mean, I won't let you work alone no matter what, so please don't worry, haha," Jack answered hurriedly while trying to justify his position.

But at the next moment, a man in his mid-forties came and while he was looking at the satchel on his left forearm, he began to speak with a worried expression, “This is strange. Hasn’t my wife arrived yet? Oh my God, what made her so late for the appointment?”

Then Jack took a step forward and asked the man curiously, "Excuse me, but who are you?"

“Oh, sorry. My name is William Smith, the financial director of G.H. I have come now to investigate the case of the theft of 20 million dollars and the armed robbery that occurred in the company.”

Oh, welcome. It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Jack, who is in charge of the case. It is an honor to meet you.”

Excuse me, but where is your wife? Isn’t she supposed to be a witness in this case?

Yes, this is true, and this is what I was talking about a while ago. I thought she had already arrived, but this is really strange. She was late.” The financial director answered while looking at his watch.

Then he continued, saying, “Excuse me, but can I use the landline phone? My phone’s battery is almost de.ad.”

“Sure, go ahead,” Jack said while he had a strange feeling, which was confirmed as a dream. The financial manager picked up the landline and called his wife while he was looking at his watch. This was really strange, as this was actually the third time he had looked at his watch since his arrival, as if he had all been waiting. A certain time to do something, and of course his behavior cannot be considered a habit or anything else except that he was waiting for something

Despite this, his thoughts were interrupted by the conversation that took place between the financial director and his wife, where the financial director said to Jack

“Inspector, my wife wants to talk to you, please.”

“Yes, of course,” Jack hurriedly answered the CFO’s question while ignoring the strange feeling he had felt before due to the CFO’s actions.

“Excuse me, Mrs. Smith, it is now eleven in the morning, and this is the time for taking your testimony in the case, so why are you so late?” Jack asked while he was curious.

“Hey, what are you talking about, Mr. Policeman? A policeman called me and told me that the time of the interview you were going to conduct with me changed from eleven in the morning to three in the evening.” The lady answered while she had a serious and puzzled expression, as if she was thinking about something.

"What? This is impossible. I am the investigator in charge of the case, and it is impossible for another policeman to contact you without my knowledge." Jack answered hurriedly, while he had a puzzled and worried expression.

But in the next moment, I found that the financial director had quickly pulled the phone from my hand and started talking to his wife, “Hey, my dear, what do you talk about when a police officer talks to you? And if this is true, why didn’t you tell me before?” He was saying while He had a somewhat worried expression, but before she could even answer, Jack wanted the CFO to return the phone to him so he could find out what really happened with the lady.

However, at the moment when Jack asked the financial director to give him the phone headset, the financial director did not agree and was trying to resist and said that he wanted to understand what his wife was talking about first. Suddenly, the financial director’s balance was disturbed and he was on the verge of falling, and yet he leaned back. On the desk, he pressed the “public conversation” button on the landline, allowing everyone to hear the lady’s voice while she was calling.

“Hey, can you hear me?” But before anyone could answer her, they were all surprised by a loud scream coming from the lady.

The financial manager immediately tried to ask his wife about what suddenly happened to her, “Hey, my wife, are you okay? What happened? Hey, can you hear me? Why don’t you answer?”

The financial director bombarded his wife with many questions, but despite all of those questions, the woman did not answer any of them. For a moment, silence filled the place when the woman did not answer any of her husband’s questions.

But as soon as silence prevailed, Maya shouted at the financial director, “Sir, where is your house located? We have to hurry. The lady may be in some danger.”

“Okay, let’s go,” the financial manager hurriedly replied

"Jack, let's go," Maya said hurriedly while calling Jack in a loud voice, almost like a scream, to Jack, who seemed to be lost for a moment and was thinking about something.

“Ah, okay,” said Jack, who quickly regained consciousness from distracted Maya

Then the three people quickly went to Maya's car, who quickly tightened her seat belt and as soon as she finished, placed the police siren on top of the car.

Maya quickly said to Jack and the CFO, “Jack, sir, close your mouths tightly and try not to bite your tongue.” Maya did not allow either Jack or the CFO to be shocked by Maya’s words for a long time.

It sped off at such a terrible, unimaginable speed that Jack, who rode a few moments later than Maya, and the financial director was in the back seat of the car and had not worn a seat belt, began swaying in the car right and left and was unable to remain in the car seat in an upright position. Or balanced at all

 

 

Jack felt as if he was about to cry, yet he was trying with all his might to maintain his position and not sway. No man in the world could have allowed his prestige to be destroyed like this in front of the girl he loved.

And he wants it to be his property

However, only about ten minutes had passed and Maya had arrived by car at the financial director’s house. As soon as they arrived, they quickly stormed into the house, but because of the large size of the house, they split up and began searching the house.

The financial director said hurriedly, “I will search the office room and the basement. Please, you search the upper floor.”

Although Jack and Maya were two people, police officers, and they were supposed to be in charge of the inspection and search, they did not think much about the matter and went to the second floor to search it, and the financial director went to the basement rooms to search them.

But it did not take long until both Jack and Maya, who were on the upper floor, heard the financial director's screams coming from the lower floor.
